One of the biggest barriers to participation in sport and physical activity for disabled people is the limited knowledge, understanding and confidence of coaches
Some National Governing Bodies of Sport offer coaching courses which focus on how to adapt coaching techniques. A sport/activity can be more inclusive by simply changing the way a session is delivered e.g. by using different equipment, or by adapting the rules.
