Athletics

Athletics is a sport for all ages and abilities. The Hampshire & IOW Athletics Network is a strong network of clubs in Hampshire providing opportunities for competitive track and field athletics as well as cross country and road running.

The Run In England scheme is a great starting point if you are just getting started in running and want to get fit in relaxed, sociable and friendly environments.

A strong volunteer and coaching workforce ensures that there are opportunities to get involved in the sport at every level. Athletics depends upon the commitment and enthusiasm of volunteers and participation is both rewarding and challenging. Plus, speak to your local club to find out about other ways to get involved.
