Swimming Links Free Swimming LessonsFree Swimming lessons are on offer in the New Forest, Portsmouth and Southampton for adults and anyone over the age of 11 thanks to a new initiative from the Amateur Swimming Association and the local and unitary authorities. One in five adults can't swim and learning this new skill could save your life as well as kick start a healthy lifestyle. Courses are available at various times in Portsmouth at Eastney, Mountbatten and St Luke's leisure centres, in Southampton at Bitterne, Jubilee, Oaklands, Red Lodge, Shirley and The Quays leisure centres and in the New Forest at Applemore, New Milton, Ringwood, Totton and Lymington.
