Sponsoring sport in Hampshire and IOW
There has never been a better time to sponsor sport. From the moment it was announced that London would host the Olympics in 2012, there was an increase in opportunities for companies to benefit from the exposure and credibility of association with sport. Media sports coverage has and will continue to rise in the lead up to 2012 and people are becoming more interested and excited about sport. This is the time to become a part of it. As a company you can benefit from the association and profile of sponsoring sport, as well as supporting young people to reach their potential.

The Hampshire Talented Athlete Scheme has been set up to help reduce the financial burden on talented sportsmen and women and to provide supplementary support to them to reach their full potential.
- Hampshire Games: The Hampshire Games is an annual multi-sports competition for 7-16 year olds and is the largest event of its kind in the county. It attracts approximately 3,500 competitors, 500 volunteers and countless spectators. It offers many youngsters their first taste of a large-scale sports competition and for many can lead on to their development and competition at a higher level. It also develops young people through wider opportunities such as officiating, umpiring, coaching and volunteering.
- Hampshire & IOW Sports Awards. Annual event to recognise and reward commitment to and excellence in coaching, volunteering, participation and performance in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. It is a fantastic opportunity to support our sporting stars of the future.
